Seeing that there have been several threads about different computer programs here on Newgrounds, I figured I'd make a newspost. This post will likely be quite long. Also, seeing as I could recommend a program that is a virus, I'm going to do something. I won't put any programs that aren't very well known. Here goes :

TuneUp Utilities 2009
Price : $49.95

TuneUp Utilities is an ideal program to have on your computer. It packs a lot of different features, such as a registry cleaner and a drive defragmenter. It's not free, but it's well worth worth the cost. It also comes with a very useful program : TuneUp Styler. Styler allows you to use themes on your computer, without having to patch any files on Windows. Styler can also let you change your logon screen, amongst other things.

iTunes
Price : Free

iTunes is a very useful media player. Yes, it gets a lot of insults due to the more Mac-friendly interface, but it works well on Windows too. I have used other media players, but I always prefer iTunes. I hate Apple, yet I like this program. Definitely try it out. Plus, if you own an iPod or you want to go on the iTunes Store to download music or video, you need iTunes. If you don't have iTunes, you have to convert your music to .m4p to play it on your iPod.

RocketDock
Price : Free

RocketDock brings one of the best features of Mac OSX to Windows : the dock. The RocketDock is a great way to keep your stuff organised without cluttering up your desktop. I find this program really easy to use, and it's very customisable. It's free, easy to use, and pretty good looking. RocketDock is free, but it's definitely worth trying out - for once, 'You Get What You Pay For' doesn't count.
